High-Speed Networking (HSN) Plugfest
The next Ethernet Alliance High-Speed Networking (HSN) Plugfest event will take place December 8-12, 2025 at the Keysight Technologies campus in Santa Clara, CA.
This will be the Ethernet industry’s first event focused on interoperability testing of 200Gbps/lane SerDes technology, as defined by the IEEE 802.3dj specification. The event will include interoperability assessment, conformance testing/pathfinding, and interconnect functionality testing.
Event Focus
- Interoperability of Ethernet systems from 200GbE to 1.6TbE
- Multi-speed interop testing, with a primary goal of evaluating 200Gbps/lane technologies
- System to system and system to transceiver L1 interoperability assessment of Ethernet devices including standalone PHYs, NICs, switches, servers, storage arrays, cables and test equipment
- AN/LT evaluation at all lane speeds
- 200G/lane host and interconnect compliance testing
- Conformance testing in support of IEEE 802.3dj specification final draft and/or closure of remaining open items
- Interconnect validation
- Conformance testing for various interconnect options, including DAC, AEC, ACC, AOC, retimed optics, linear optics, and partially retimed optics.
- Cable/module functionality, including testing of dynamic configurations, timing, and power.
- Opportunistic testing of ILT, L2 functions, emerging products and protocols, or other areas, as driven by participant interest
Both members of the Ethernet Alliance as well as other interested parties with devices/system addressing the above specifications are invited to attend.
The NDA submission deadline is October 15 and NDA-only sessions will start in early September. If you are interested in attending, please contact morgan@ethernetalliance.org
